Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy explains how V1 (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information you share when you visit this website or engage with our services. We keep this short and plain because we respect your time.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information gathered automatically when you use our site.

Information you provide: When you book a discovery call or get in touch through our booking system (powered by Cal.com), you provide your name, email address, and any details about your project you choose to share. We only collect what’s relevant to understanding how we can help you.

Information collected automatically: Like most websites, we collect basic analytics data — page views, referral sources, device type, and general location (country/region). This is aggregated and not linked to any individual. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) that do not set tracking cookies or build individual profiles.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and understand your project needs
  • Schedule and prepare for discovery calls
  • Deliver the services you engage us for
  • Send updates relevant to an active project or proposal
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors use it

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described in Section 3.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted tools to run our business. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

  • Cal.com Handles booking and scheduling. Your name, email, and any session notes pass through their platform.
  • Vercel Hosts this website and provides privacy-preserving analytics. No personal data is collected through analytics.

If we engage a subcontractor to deliver part of your project (a specialist developer or copywriter, for example), we share only the information necessary for that work. Any such arrangement is covered by a confidentiality agreement.

4. Cookies

This site does not use marketing or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies. Cal.com may set functional cookies when you use the booking flow to maintain session state — these are necessary for the booking experience and are not used for advertising.

If you have a browser that blocks cookies, the site will work normally. The only exception is the booking flow, which requires cookies to function.

5. Data Retention

We retain project-related communications and files for as long as the engagement is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case questions arise. Booking inquiries that do not become active projects are typically deleted within 12 months.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see Section 7 for how to get in touch.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you’re based, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we process it. This includes rights under GDPR (for individuals in the EEA and UK) and similar regulations elsewhere.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 7. We will respond within 30 days and at no charge.

7. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests to access or delete your data, can be sent to: hello@v1.build

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If the changes are significant, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. We won’t notify you by email for routine updates, but you’re always welcome to check this page.
